Q: Why use Thames Valley Energy Services?

Q: What is an Energy Performance Certificate and who needs one?
 
A: It will tell you how energy efficient your property is and what improvements can be made to improve your Energy rating. The certificate produces a list of recommendations seperated into high and low cost measures to improve the energy efficiency of the home.
 
Q: How long does the EPC last for?                                           
 
A: This varies :
 
If your are a Homeseller or Buyer it will last 12 months as part of a Home Information Pack
 
If you are a Landlord the Energy Performance Certificate last for 10 years as set by the EU directive.

 
Q: How much will an Energy Performance Certificate cost me and How can I pay?
 
A: We continuously monitor our prices to keep them as up to date and competitive as we can. As soon as you make an enquiry we will phone you for some basic information on the property concerned. Prices will vary according to the size of property and distance from our location. Expect your quote to be in the region of  £50 - £85 + VAT. Our prices are negotiable for bulk instructions.
 
We can be paid by cheque, cash or BACS transfer. Payment on order, or on the day prior to commencement of the assessment.
